There are many challenging and steep gullies on the Ridge that will test anyone. This terrain can only be reached by traversing depending on the weather conditions.

The snowmaking team has made a lot of progress in the last few nights, especially at Spillway and Lift 2. They should be able to open the bottom half this weekend.

Opening Day was a smashing success! It was a blast to be on the mountain, and it was great to see so many people enjoying the new trails.

Loveland saw several inches more of snow this week, and things seem to be picking up. Mountain Ops Meeting tomorrow should bring us some more information on terrain openings. We'll keep our eyes open!

Steps:

  1. Your Budget is an important step in planning your trip. Before you start to think about where to go or what to do, it is important to determine how much money you have available for your trip. If you don’t have enough money, it might be necessary to cancel your trip.
  2. Book Your Flights. After you have decided on your budget, book your tickets. Find the best price and lowest flight deal. Also, check if airlines offer any special deals during certain seasons. These deals could be a great way to save money.
  3. Choose Your Destination - Once you've booked your ticket, the next thing you'll need to decide is where you'd like to travel. Numerous factors go into choosing your destination.
  4. Locate Accommodations – After you've chosen your destination, you need to locate accommodations. There are many choices for accommodation. You can choose from affordable hostels or luxury suites. The best type of accommodation for you depends on your requirements and preferences. If you are looking for somewhere close to the center of the city, a hotel might not be the best option. A homestay might be a better option if you are looking for quieter places far from the crowds.
  5. Select Activities & Attractions: Now that you have selected your accommodation, it is time to decide which activities and attractions to include in the itinerary. Depending on the length of your stay, you can either choose only a few activities or add several new ones throughout your trip.

  8. Research Online - Before leaving for your trip, research online so you won't miss anything. To find out what other travellers think about different destinations, read reviews and testimonials. This way, you will be able to plan accordingly.
  9. Pack Lightly - One of the biggest mistakes people make when packing is bringing too many clothes. Don't bring five clothes. Bring three. Bring clothing appropriate for the weather you're visiting.
